A Gold and White Spring
There is gold like that
there is white like that—
Are they far from the nightmares in grays,
Are they far from here?
If someone holds them for us
they are never gone far
only one world away
only one call away—
I need those colors now,
may I please borrow your eyes?

Eyes from California

This is the boat Ronan buys to flee Las Croabas after he is threatened by thieves. It’s seaworthy enough to sail along a coastline, but not enough to survive a storm at sea.

Seen too much ice lately? Has it frozen your pen or your keyboard? Do you need a little inspiration? Try a little of this optical inspiration. If you stare at this flower for only five minutes, you are sure to find a great idea in the middle of your medulla.

My sister, Anne, just after she finished reading Joe Island (set on a Greek Island) said she felt inspired to go to the beach. Luckily for us, she took her camera.
It’s a gray day for you? Go to the beach anyway. Can’t get out? Try this: http://tinyurl.com/39atz36
